Lea T. is enjoying her reign as fashion’s muse du jour, but so far she hasn’t made as big a splash in her native Brazil. That’s about to change. The fledgling supe is heading south later this month to headline Alexandre Herchcovitch’s runway show, always a highlight of São Paulo Fashion Week. The outing will serve as a homecoming coronation for Lea, who’s following in the footsteps of previous headliners Gisele and Lara Stone. In anticipation, she opened up to Brazilian magazine Quem about her roots (she’s the scion of former soccer star Toninho Cerezo, which in Brazil is the equivalent of royalty) and her upcoming surgical transformation. Combined with her upcoming Oprah appearance, she’s well on her way to world domination—and we couldn’t be happier for it.
