Lara Stone Wins Lawsuit Against French Playboy

It turns out Lara Stone is a knockout even outside fashion’s jurisdiction. As you may recall, the Dutch stunner, who’s made a name for herself by throwing modesty to the wind and flaunting her ample assets (most recently on the cover of French Vogue), was none too pleased when French Playboy ran unauthorized nudes (outtakes from an earlier shoot) in its June issue. If you’ve seen the shots, they’re rather tame by Stone’s standards, who has noted of earlier work: “I think naughty shoots suit my personality.” And though she’s put the pro in provocateur, the new Mrs. Walliams is a woman of principle (it’s the context that counts), taking legal action against the skin mag. Reported today, Lara has won “significant” damages from the publication. We’re also happy to note that under all that cleavage, there’s a soft heart, and the undisclosed amount will be donated to the Great Ormond Street Hospital.
