Hint Tip

The fashion marathon may be over, but that doesn’t mean jetsetters are hanging up their heels. Frieze Art Fair in London takes the torch from Paris Fashion Week with a whirlwind of parties and openings, including the main fair, where Claudia Schiffer was spotted making the rounds. Just down the road, the Barbican Gallery will unveil their Future Beauty retrospective, celebrating thirty years of conceptual Japanese design. Key pieces from Comme des Garçons, Yohji Yamamoto and numerous other innovators will be on hand, likely drawing the entire London set clad in their freaky Japanese best. Meanwhile, Vladimir Restoin-Roitfeld continues his guerrilla curatorial projects, taking over an old dairy in Bloomsbury for his latest project with artist Nicolas Pol. We expect mom Carine to make a cameo at the unveiling tomorrow night. As if that’s not enough, just a week away is the grand debut of FIAC (Paris’ answer to Frieze), where Hermès will pair up with Daniel Buren on a special limited-edition line of scarves. And finally, the month will close with PS1’s much-anticipated MOVE! exhibition, which promises every pairing of art and fashion you could ever hope for.
