Proving, yet again, that his outsized ego knows no bounds, runway gadfly Kanye West recently explained why the world has yet to see a namesake clothing label from him. Claiming he suffers as a rapper and celebrity, West says he actually quit music for six months because nobody in the fashion industry believed he had any cred. Self-induced MTV VMA wounds aside, West blames one starlet in particular for ruining things for everybody else. “Have you heard of a little thing called Lindsay Lohan’s Ungaro collection? That was like the 9/11 of fashion. It was game over for me after that as no one would take a celebrity trying to do fashion seriously.” We hope that was only the Henny talking.

But at least LiLo still curries favor with other musicians. Iggy Pop, for one, thinks she’d be perfect to play him in an upcoming biopic by Jim Jarmusch. “She looks like me and she’s the only one with enough attitude too,” Pop said, adding, “She’s been in jail at the right age and everything so I thought she could do it.”
