What can we say, we love a man who’s in touch with his feminine side. And Candy is just the magazine for it. Touting itself as the first high-fashion glossy dedicated to all things “trans and androgynous,” Candy is gender-bending at its provocative best. Sweeter still, the second issue (available October 24) features our favorite art heartthrob on the cover, a smoldering James Franco channeling Loulou de la Falaise, complete with lacquered red lips and an impeccable le smoking jacket. Shot by Terry Richardson, the issue also features contributions from Kembra Pfahler, Collier Schorr and Steven Klein—but we confess we’re in it for the Franco. We hope those nails dry fast because with only 1000 copies being printed, they’re likely to disappear faster than boy bits on hormone therapy.
