the first quilt from A.P.C.’s Jean Touitou, in collaboration with designer (and “patchwork queen”) Jessica Ogden. Borne of the need to find an ethical home (i.e. not the dumpster) for A.P.C.’s acres and acres of archived fabrics—much of it colorful Liberty prints and madras—and inspired by the quilts that Touitou’s mother made from Kenzo fabrics, these are blankies even the Amish would envy. Wouldn’t you love to be swaddled in one of these this winter? On sale October 28, limited to 30 pieces each, hand-stitched by women in Bangalore, India.
