Camilla Staerk
Camilla Staerk’s minimal presentation was another chic exercise in restraint: thirteen looks in black-and-white, inspired by French interior designer Andrée Putman. Indeed the starkness of the surroundings impressed itself onto the clothes—which we approved of! A spring show sans florals is a happy one in our book. The leather kimono jacket was a particular standout, and we admit to not hating the harem pants. Sadly, the dramatic feel of the clothes was ratcheted up when not one, but two models fell ill—a shame, as the collection was a high point of the weekend.
