If the vibe of Gucci’s video for its latest fragrance, Guilty, seems familiar, it’s probably because the spot comes courtesy of Sin City’s Frank Miller. Gucci is only giving us a tease until the ad premieres in its entirety at the MTV Music Video Awards on September 12, but we’re digging what we see so far. Like Miller’s graphic book and film, the clip has a futuristic noir feel, juxtaposing face-of-the-campaign Evan Rachel Wood racing around the city on an elevated thoroughfare with shots of the actress trysting in some seriously vertiginous heels. As was true of Guilty’s print ads, Fantastic Four’s Chris Evans plays the brooding hunk to Wood’s comic book femme fatale. Makes you want to forget about that whole Marilyn Manson thing.
