The Target saga continues. Last week the retailer issued a public apology for making a hefty contribution to a political group supporting Tom Emmer, the right-wing, anti-gay zealot running for Minnesota governor, but in the disingenuous we’re-sorry-you’re-offended way. When the Human Rights Campaign demanded that Target make an equal donation to a pro-gay-rights candidate, they were stonewalled. Says a company rep, “We believe that it is impossible to avoid turning any further actions into a political issue and will use the benefit of time to make thoughtful, careful decisions on how best to move forward.” Whatever. Meanwhile, this hilarz video of a sing-along flashmob has surfaced on YouTube…
