Knitwear powerhouse Missoni keeps upping the ante, enlisting none other than the high priest of experimental cinema, Kenneth Anger, to craft its fall 2010 campaign. Following high-profile collaborations with Ryan McGinley and Juergen Teller, the venerable Italian house has, in a coup, commissioned a hallucinogenic video journey from the notoriously reclusive filmmaker, auteur of such seventies’ classics as Scorpio Rising. The vision quest stars the members of the Missoni clan, and sticks to their all-in-the-family ethic. But the final outcome is an entirely Anger experience, superimposed mystical revelations with some amazing knits to boot.
