For his terrific fall collection, men’s designer Lucas Ossendrijver came up with a whimsical carryall hand-knitted in Italy with 900 meters of hiking rope. “I wanted a raw travel bag with a handcrafted and individual feel,” he told us. “So I first put the ropes inside the bag, but then in the end I used it outside as well, so that it looks very unique.” Naturally, such uniqueness comes with a price. The very limited-edition trophy retails for €5500, available in only a handful of stores in Europe. But as Diana Ross said, ain’t no mountain high enough.
