Silver mylar and a strategically placed bottle may be the only things keeping Marc Jacobs’ latest fragrance ads from verging on Playgirl territory, but the designer kept things kosher for the London launch of Bang. A kilt-less Jacobs arrived at Harvey Nicks last night clad in skinny jeans, white button-down and black blazer, soon to be swarmed by guests Anna Sui, Erin O’Connor, Gareth Pugh and Beth Ditto. Like gym-rat Jacobs, the Gossip frontwoman and fellow attendees Daisy Lowe and Jake Shears share the designer’s penchant for posing in the buff. Ditto model-turned-MacBook-DJ Jesus Luz, who shared turntable duties with Shears. Predictably, guests went into a tizzy when Luz ended the evening with Madge’s “Celebration.” Frankly, Luz should be feting the fact he’s still got a paying gig—or, at least a free bottle of cologne.
