Though John Galliano’s already on board to play himself in the upcoming Isabella Blow biopic, don’t expect a similar designer turn from Philip Treacy. In fact, the milliner, who claims no desire to appear onscreen himself, already has his sights set on one thesp in particular. “If I could pick anyone I’d run with Brad Pitt but it’s wishful thinking and perhaps not very likely I know,” Treacy tells Vogue UK. Though roughly the same age as Treacy and similarly fair-complexioned under all that bronzer, the onetime sex symbol would clearly have to ditch the billy goat beard and beanies in favor of a clean shave and non-stoner headgear. That, and master Treacy’s accent—which, evidenced by Inglorious Basterds, Troy and Seven Years in Tibet, to name just three—might prove a stretch.
