Pat Cleveland Returns to the Runway

The highlight of last night’s VMAN party and fashion show at the Hudson Hotel, to toast its Scandinavia-themed summer issue, was a toss-up. On the one hand, original supermodel Pat Cleveland, who we’re pretty sure isn’t Scandinavian, was all smiles on the runway in that easy, breezy Halston way, probably because her daughter was by her side in an identical highlighter yellow number. (You may recall the twosome made a similar double-trouble runway appearance for Chanel a few years ago.) And on the other hand, the performance by soul diva Cookie—also, we’re assuming, not Scandinavian—was pretty mind-blowing. Okay, so these are the Scandinavians who were in attendance: designers Henrik Vibskov and Johan Lindeberg, hockey star Henrik Lundqvist, Anne Christensen and the members of the band New Politics. Oh wait, one of those is actually the presumed new editor-in-chief of T. You’ll have to forgive us; we’re still a little dazzled from the pre-party dinner at the Georg Jensen store last night. We’re not accustomed to seeing so much fine silver in one place.
