There’s never a shortage of reasons to visit Long Island City. Um, okay, there’s one, but at least P.S.1 is keeping our interest piqued, unveiling the latest installment of the quinquennial (aka every five years) Greater New York exhibit, a survey of the artistic output of our lovely metropolis. The new edition, launching May 23, showcases an unusually festive array of artists, including op art vixen Tauba Auerbach, the naughty photo antics of Leigh Ledare and our most favoritest performance art chanteuse, Kalup Linzy. Incidentally, we hear Kalup has been brewing a few other fabulous projects, but you’ll have to stay tuned for that.
