That Isabella Blow amassed over 90 outfits from onetime bestie Alexander McQueen shouldn’t come as much of a shock. This is, after all, the woman who reportedly purchased the designer’s entire Saint Martins graduation collection for the bargain basement price of 5,000 pounds. On September 15, Blow’s McQueen wares will go on the block at Christie’s in London, along with her 50 Philip Treacy hats and (based on the numbers thus far) we’d say at least 250 pairs of Manolo Blahniks. Expect the late stylist’s collection to get McQueenophiles in a tizzy—don’t be surprised if Daphne Guinness arrives armed for auction combat in a pair of Armadillos.
