Dolce & Gabbana went vintage for fall with an ode to their greatest hits: tight, Fellini-esque suits and corset dresses that serve as crock pots for cleavage. Apparently, the vintage theme is extending to the fall campaign, too, with Madonna reprising her role as the hot Italian food-preparer. And this time, the Material MILF found herself in old stomping grounds, the streets of Harlem, surrounded by a swarm of paparazzi and a tweet-happy Stefano Gabbana. By the looks of it, the tableau hasn’t changed much, with Madge stringing along a cherubic boy (not Jesus Luz) in a New World version of the nice neighborhood boy helping the local frisky dona with her groceries. We’re glad to see gallantry is alive and well, just like Madonna’s appetite.
