Brazilian Supe Raquel Zimmermann Plays a Petulant Wood Nymph in Juergen Teller’s New Book

Not many photographers can coax a supermodel into taking on the role of a petulant wood nymph and frolicking half-naked around the forests of Bavaria. But Juergen Teller is nothing if not persuasive. For his latest book, Zimmermann (Steidl, $65), he shot Brazilian supe Raquel Zimmermann—whose wayward gaze has appeared on the cover of almost every Vogue there is—in his native Bubenreuth, Germany, as she disrupts Teller family dinners by lying nude on the table, lies her head dangerously near a buzz saw or simply romps through the woods in whitey-tighties.
