Two decades after the launch of that seminal scent, La Liz is back with Violet Eyes, a fruity floral named for the actress-cum-husband-collector’s most famous feature. Though Taylor initially balked at the name, telling her Twitter followers it seemed “conceited,” she relented when fans overwhelmingly approved the purple peepers idea. Taylor’s decision to let the twitterati weigh in got us thinking about what might work for other oldie-but-goodie thesps. We’re feeling Minx by Joan Collins, Just Golden for Betty White, Sentez-moi for Catherine Deneuve and Frozen Rivers from the eponymous Joan.
