Lest anyone think Johnny Weir incapable of indulging his inner butch, the figure skater appeared on Real Sports With Bryant Gumbel to set the record, um, straight. While the onetime enemy-of-PETA won’t be donning real fur in the rink this Olympic season, he will be launching his own clothing collection in the near future. According to his costume designer Stephanie Handler, Weir habitually sketches precisely what he wants her to create, down to the smallest details. While those little embellishments no longer include fox trim, it’s safe to say, judging from this image, that we’ll be seeing more animal-friendly pink fringe, mesh cutouts, Swarovski crystals and glitter—lots of glitter.
