Zero + Maria Cornejo

Following the launch of a capsule men’s collection last September, Maria Cornejo fully integrated the boys for fall. Building on the androgynous vibe already inherent in the label, Cornejo showed wool capes and hand-knit alpaca jackets paired with stretch-leather pants or tapered, low-waisted trousers. Girls borrowed from the boys with slouchy pants, corduroy vests and boy blazers, lending their wearers a gritty sex appeal. Bright prints provided a feminine touch, popping up on everything from silk tunics to beaded dresses and leather breastplates. Saving the best for last, Cornejo left us with a killer abstract-print jacquard coat that gets top billing on our fall wish list.
