these Viktor & Rolf dolls designed by Dutch architect and art historian Siebe Tettero. Twenty in all, the porcelain pretties launched last night at the NRW in Dusseldorf with talks by Christine Arp (editor-in-chief, German Vogue) and Germano Celant (director, Prada Foundation). After hearing that each one of those huge tulle dresses for spring—the ones that looked like they were made by an over-caffeinated Edward Scissorhands—took 163 hours to make, we’ve concluded the Dutch are a very exacting bunch.
