London Fashion Week is getting a whole lot more interesting with a collaboration between two UK institutions: Serpentine Gallery and Pringle. To celebrate almost two centuries (195 years, to be exact) of cozy knits, the fashion house has enlisted a roster of premier artists to re-imagine Pringle classics as limited editions. Chances are you’ve seen Tilda Swinton running through the Highlands, filmed by Ryan McGinley. Expect more from Douglas Gordon, Julien David and Richard Wright. Here’s a sneak peek at the contribution from Scottish artist David Shrigley, known for his wry, existential squiggles. He’s done quite a number with a preppy argyle cardie. Look for the full collection to be released with a proper bash in February.
