Hole In My Heart
What better way to avoid custodial woes than go on tour? Everyone’s favorite mommie dearest, Courtney Love, has managed to piece together a band and announce a series of gigs starting in February. The mini-tour will hit Amsterdam and Milan first, then launch in London at the indelicately named Shepherd’s Bush Empire. Designed to promote Love’s second album (called, aptly, Nobody’s Daughter), the shows have been re-vamped as a Hole project, despite missing most of the band’s original line-up.
It’s hard to imagine this second incarnation surpassing her gig at Alexander Wang’s gas-station after-party blowout. But then, the last time we went to a Hole show, Courtney punched out most of the front row before diving headfirst and braless into the pit. So it could rock.
