In the past when we’ve brought you a new item (because he doesn’t do collections, per se) from our crazy Icelandic friend Sluri Recht, it’s been a blanket that doubles as a coat or an umbrella with a handle you can remove and wear as a knuckle duster. This time Sruli has gone—dare we say?—understated with a bag that doesn’t hint at any ulterior motive. His first-ever bag, the Foald (€235), is a trusty unisex clutch that’s been laser-cut from horsehide, tanned in either black or natural dove gray, then darted, folded into shape and finished with a black lava button, which makes sense coming from the fiery, volcanic little island.
