Limi Feu
Yohji Yamamoto’s daughter, Limi Yamamoto, never strays far from her father’s aesthetic. Both designers harbor an obsession with black and white, a fascination with volume, a fondness for non-models with lots of character and an aversion to high heels. For her Limi Feu spring collection, Limi again followed in her father’s footsteps, showing tent dresses, polkadots, oversized white shirts, pointy boots and androgynous tailoring that had a cool rock vibe. She also sent out perhaps the campiest accessories we’ve seen so far this season: a spiked dog collar (on an actual dog) with matching bracelets and headbands. Very punk. And the show had news: men sauntered down her runway for the first time.
