We all know Marc Jacobs likes girlie, especially when it comes to fragrance. It’s like, his thing. He’s been releasing very straightforward body splashes for a while, and before that was the Daisy collection. The target age for his scents seemed like it was getting younger and younger, and for a second we were a little worried he was going to market diaper cream next. But he showed us up with Lola, an eau de parfum that’s gorgeous inside and out. He can’t resist the flowers—and neither can we—so fuchsia peony, rose and geranium get center-stage, and of course he’s got to throw in some fruit, this time pear. But then comes some pink peppercorn sass and tonka bean allure, and suddenly what could be a Lolita becomes more grown up. $85 for 3.4 oz, $65 for 1.7, plus a body collection ranging from $40 to $50. At department and specialty stores.
